If we consider this from a purely ‘situational perspective, irrelevant of how similar the scents are to each other in actual smell, are any of them serving the same purpose or situations in a wardrobe. for example, would Dior Homme 2020 be used in the same situations as say ADG Profumo or ADG EDP, thus making them redundant in a small collection.
Or, are they totally different i.e. one is more for daytime, the other for night, summer, winter etc.?
Or, are they all multi-purpose, multi-situational scents that would each serve well for most occasions?
Basically, I have a very small collection, in fact I’d say it’s more of a few bottles than an actual collection. Therefore duplication and redundancy are things I’d really like to avoid, whilst still having something for most, if not all situations and occasions.
I’m now looking at a couple of the named fragrances, so it could be DH2020 + Profumo, or ADG EDP + DH202, or even both the ADG’s?
Therefore I obviously don’t want to get the two that serve the same purposes, in the same situations, I’d rather have two that are not too similar.
DH2020 has a smooth and deeper dry down (often said to remind of BDC EDP/Parfum), as does Profumo (with incense) so would they be too similar in usage situations?
Maybe maybe not, what do you reckon?
Silly old sloth, I know…..
