Interesting, thank you. I’ve owned Bois d’Iris by VC&A, and found that a very suitable, similar replacement for Bd’A, but I’ve never heard of Bois d’Iris by Daniel Josier. I’ll have to look into this one.
You’ve referred to it as “the proper version of a reformed scent,” so I suppose that means you find the Bd’A reformulation sub-par in comparison to the original?
EDIT: Now that I’ve had a few minutes to look around, this Daniel Josier really seems like a solid replacement. Have you ever tried the VC&A? Do you think the Daniel Josier is even closer to BdA than the Van Cleef?
