I made a little discovery during a conversation whilst giving my son and a couple of his friends a lift to the airport the other week. Face wash wristbands! As soon as the phrase was uttered I realised it was the thing I have been missing in my life without ever knowing! Have you heard of them? Here’s what you need to know.
What are Face Wash Wristbands?
If you wash your face over the sink, and love a good old double cleanse, you are going to love this idea!
Face wash wristbands are basically exactly like headbands, except you put them on your wrists to prevent water and product dripping down your arms when you cleanse. Genius!
My Review of Face Wash Wristbands
I can’t count the number of times that I have struggled with my pyjamas or dressing gown sleeves slipping down while I am doing the first steps of my skincare at night. As the water starts running down my arms, I end up trying to use my elbows to push up my sleeves to stop them getting wet.
It becomes a desperate fight because there’s nothing worse than wet PJs just before you are getting into bed.
The face wash wristbands I bought are just like little cuffs that you pop over your wrists and they catch any drips, big or small, and make sure no liquids run down your arms.
You can happily get on with cleansing, without any fear of wet sleeves or even annoying puddles on the floor. They are nice and absorbent, so they catch everything.
It’s such a clever invention, and I can’t really believe I never thought of anything like this before! I mean, it’s so obvious! I went away at the weekend and didn’t take them with me, and I missed them more than I thought I would! You should check them out.

Where to buy Face Wash Wristbands
I bought a pack for £4.39, so they are super affordable. The actual ones I purchased are now sold out, but there are loads of very similar ones to choose from.
My other major Amazon discovery is a skincare carousel to organise all my serums, creams and treatments. You can read all about that in my Best Skincare and Makeup Storage for All Your Products post.
