My Review
The MERIT Beauty Flush Balm Cheek Color has a beautiful silky soft texture that glides on to the skin effortlessly and melts in for a gorgeous glowy, juicy finish.
It is hydrating yet feels super light on the skin and although it has a very emollient texture, it applies nice and evenly and doesn’t slide around. The finish is dewy and glossy which I love, and it stays nice and juicy-looking on the skin, rather than drying down as the day wears on.
It lasts a few hours on me before I want to top it up – this may be down to my combination skin type. If you like quite a visible blush and have a similar skin type, you will want to reapply during the day. It’s a super convenient product to apply on the go, but if you’re someone that tends not to do makeup top-ups, you might want to skip this blush. Personally, I love a little top up especially as it is lovely and hydrating!
Of course, I can only speak for how long it lasts on my skin. I haven’t properly wear-tested all the shades yet, so will update here if I notice any longevity variations between the different colours.
I love the Terracotta shade. It is the most ‘nude’ of all the colours and is so easy to wear. It’s a buildable shade but the most subtle colour from all the collection, so if you like something very soft looking, this is one to choose. You can use it all over the face for subtle warmth and shading.
Every shade is sheer and layerable. If Terracotta looks too warm toned for you, you may want to check out Cheeky or Raspberry Beret which are both beautiful, vibrant colours.
Beverly Hills is a super pretty soft pinky-peach and Mood is a deeper wine tone which is perfect for a wintery makeup look.
I have a video coming up on my Instagram showing you the shades, so stay tuned for that.
