The first fragrance I ever owned was: Body Fantasies Vanilla. I got it for Christmas when I was… 9? I never liked it that much.
The first fragrance I bought with my own money was: Modi Dichotomy, when I was studying abroad in Russia. My current collection started with Revlon Fire & Ice.
My favorite fragrances is: Undecided. I love to sample and try all sorts of fragrances, but if I have to pick, it’s among MMM By the Fireplace, FM Musc Ravageur, ELDO Fat Electrician, and JHAG Not A Perfume.
I gravitate towards woody, spicy, musky, powdery, and gourmand unisex scents, but nothing is off the table. I have a soft spot for citruses and salty aquatics. Ambroxan smell divine to me. Some of my favorite notes are plum, fig, tea, cardamom, sandalwood, and tons and tons of musk. Not big on fruits and florals – the worst offenders being peach, rose, and peony.
Tell us a bit about where you live: Florida. My fragrances have to play nice with the heat and humidity. Or else, I just wear all my sweet, cloying scents in the air conditioning.
Tell us a bit about what you do for fun: I’m very creative and crafty, so I’m always working on some sort of project. Right now I’m painting a patio table and chairs with a crane and palm tree design.
Tell us a bit about what you do for work: I work in real estate, but I have my bachelor’s in Russian and French. Covid ruined most of my plans – I’m still figuring things out for the long run.
Thanks for having me and happy new year! Here’s to another year of smelling amazing scents!
