this is the formula that came out today. I want to share with you, I bet I can do it better with some tip.
The heart of the formula are Exyle Acetate, Fructone, Allyl Caprylate.
Then, to add some high note accent, I’ve added Benzil Acetate. And to make the apple more mature, I’ve added some Alpha Damascone.
To make it more sweet, Frambinone and Ethyl Maltol.
Exyle Acetate 10% | 10 |
Fructone 10% | 16 |
Allyl Caprylate 10% | 6 |
Alpha Damascone 10% | 2 |
Benzil Acetate 10% | 1 |
Benzil Saliciate 10% | 6 |
Hedione 15% | 2 |
Vertofix 15% | 2 |
Ethyl Maltol 5% | 1 |
Frambinone 1% | 1 |
The frambinone and alpha damascone have an huge impact on the heart notes. It’s hard to balance the sweetness of red apple with the acid.
And alpha damascone helps in heart notes but hides high notes and reduces impact.
What is the best ratio to balance Exyle Acetate, Fructone and Allyl Caprylate?
What fixatives would you have used?
Probably I should use some aldehydes…
