hey all ive travlelled a ton in the past few years on airplanes and have always brought 3.4 oz /100ml or less perfume bottles in my carry on bag/back pack.
i never have had to take it out of the back pack or like put it in a seperate ziplock at the security, they never care. it always goes thru security fine

i wanted to ask, i have a 125ml bottle of layton that i want to take with me to travel but i won’t be checking in a perfume bag so i would have to bring it with me like normal in my carry on / backpack.
since ive never had an issue before/they never have checked/opened my bag to see if my old bottles were indeed 100ml, do u think i would run into a problem with the 125ml? i feel like the risk is pretty low? or am i wrong and that there high tech xray can tell when a bottle is larger?
