What is Vichy Liftactiv B3 Anti-Dark Spots SPF50 Day Cream?

The Vichy Liftactiv B3 Anti-Dark Spots SPF50 Day Cream has been formulated to help correct and reduce pigmentation, and also address wrinkle appearances of all types.

It features Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) and LHA which work together to help reduce the appearance existing dark spots. The cream also includes ultra-high broad-spectrum SPF50 to help prevent further pigmentation forming as a result of UV-damage.

It aims to deliver 48-hour long-lasting hydration. The formula is clinically proven and has been tested on all skin types and tones, including sensitive skins.

My Review of Vichy Liftactiv B3 Anti-Dark Spots SPF50 Day Cream

I am a big fan of Vichy skincare, and as someone with sun sensitive skin, I am always interested to try a new product with a high SPF.

I really like the texture of this formula. It is lovely and rich yet has a light velvety texture that sits really well under makeup. As it has a high SPF50 value, there’s a whiteness to it as you first apply it, but this quickly melts away and becomes translucent on the skin.

It leaves a soft glow on the skin, and as I said, makeup goes nicely on top of it.

I have been using it for a couple of weeks, so it’s too soon to comment on how it is working on my hyperpigmentation, but I wanted to flag it to you as I think it a great moisturiser with high sun protection.

I also love Niacinamide for strengthening the skin barrier whilst refining texture, and it’s the perfect ingredient if you’re looking to address dark spots. It’s also great to use during the day if you use retinol at night as Niacinamide has brilliant anti-inflammatory properties. Also, combined with LHA it will certainly get to work on fading hyperpigmentation.
